Dubai golf clubDubai is the home to two outstanding golf courses. Both are famous for the innovative design of their club houses and lush fairways. Golf course in Dubai is designed by Scottish star Colin Montgomerie. The Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club sits on the banks of Dubai Creek with its distinctive club house.

The Emirates Golf Club, located south of the city, was the first grass course in the Middle East. This is the venue of the PGA-sanctioned European Tour event, the Dubai Desert Classic. It is the annual home of the European PGA Desert Classic. This event attracts all of the major PGA players, even Golf's number one player, Tiger Woods.

Built as a true desert style grass course, a signature course designed by Ian Baker-Finch in association with Nicklaus Design. Fairways are full of immaculate grass and greens and inside are the sandy waste, with its indigenous shrubs and bushes. Within the Clubhouse are 11 luxurious Guest Rooms with spectacular views of the Golf Course and the Lake


Dubai Museum

The Dubai Museum is located in Bur Dubai, across the Creek from Deira. The Museum, originally the Al Fahdi Fort, now boasts an historical dhow at the entrance.

As you visit the museum, you go thru the history of Dubai, from desert houses with their typical wind towers to modern Dubai. Mannequins are used to recreate the atmosphere of an old creek, a night in the desert and to show how oyster fishing was performed. You'll see old maps of the Gulf and aerial pictures of the development of Dubai city in the last decades, all really impressive!

The museum can be seen in couple of hours, however there is more than enough attractions in the vicinity to fill an entire day.

Ibn Battuta Shopping Mall

Ibn Battuta, Arab scholar and traveler, was the inspiration behind this shopping mall named after him. Step into his world while you shop, and relive his experiences in the Middle East, Far East and North Africa through the several exhibits reflecting his travels and work. This mall also has a Taj Mahal Dome, a Persian Dome, an Egyptian Pyramid and a Chinese garden. So you can pretend you're in different regions of the world at the same time, even if it is for a few hours. Offering cinema houses and multiplexes, this shopping mall is fast attracting the attention of not only locals, but also tourists. Children can have a gala time as there are recreational activities for them to indulge in. So come, make your shopping experiences memorable.

Camel Race

Camel races are something unique to Dubai Only. The camel races take place at Nad Al Sheba on Thursday and Friday afternoons between Octobers to April. Nad Al Sheba Club shares its site with the world famous Racecourse. The Links Steakhouse is hugely popular on race nights, while Spikes comes into its own for post-race socializing. The first floor terrace provides an ideal corporate racing venue. The morning races tend to be private for the Sheikh's camels only but the afternoon ones are more public.
